Okay so, are any of my other readers obsessed with technology?

I just got this Blackberry Curve, and after one day I am not sure how I lived without it. It does everything!

So. Here’s your opportunity to brag about your technology! Do it, you know you wanna.

I’ll start. My blackberry is so cool There is this Google app that lets you search Google with your voice! This is mostly useless but totally fun.

My other favorite piece of tech is my digital SLR camera – Sony Alpha 300. I think the best part about it is that you can stick old Minolta lenses on it. These lenses are made so well and have such nice glass.

    *EDIT FOR ABOVE*

This means that I had to remove the earbuds on the headphones that came with the phone and solder in a mini jack so I can connect it to my car stereo and whatnot.

    Treo 800w, here.

A much needed upgrade from my last phone, a Treo 650.

I wasn’t too excited to go to the Windows Mobile platform, but I had no more patience with palmOS. Only being able to have ONE program open at a time reeeeally sucked.

Everything else has been a plus. I love not needing a separate receiver for GPS any more, moving up to EVDO Rev. A wireless transfer speeds lets me stream videos from home at a pretty damn good quality, the wifi lets me do data transfers hella quick, anddddd I can run more than one damn program at a time… gah…

Down side? My only actual plug-in I have on the phone is a mini-usb port. This means that I had to remove the headphones and solder in a mini jack so I can connect it to my car stereo and whatnot.

I’m typing this on my sony/ericsson phone/mp3 player/camera. I hear so much about the blackberry and iPhone, and even nokia have a new gadget out but this one does each of it’s tasks just well enough that I can’t be bothered changing.
Even tho I have to type one-thumbed a la txting.

The only thing I wish is that they would make a flip blackberry with a bigger keyboard, ala my friend Alien’s LG EnV. Mine has a full keyboard and dude, these buttons are tiny. I knew I’d be doing a lot of typing on the thing though so I didn’t get the Storm, which is all touch screen.

Only having one program open super sucks! Though with the blackberry you have to remember to close down the background programs, or it will get bogged down and slow. When we go to TAM7 in a few weeks there will be no internet unless you pay the hotel lots of $$, so I will just tether my blackberry to my laptop.

The other day Flimsy and I just bought a minijack adapter thingy for his new phone (which is my old phone) so he can plug his phone into his car. Then I gave him my old mini SD card so he could actually have an mp3 player. Flimsy is so behind the times with his technology.

Also, I love my little Eeepc.
