Well it’s been almost two weeks already since I blogged about torturing Twinkies. Let’s see how our little Twinkies are faring to the sill in my apartment and the sill outside. What do you predict? Do you think I’ve attracted bugs to my apartment? Do you think birds and bugs have munched on the outdoor Twinkie? Have they both dissolved into a pile of goo?
Obviously, conditions inside my apartment are relatively stable – about 70 degrees, average humidity, etc.
The conditions on the outside have been varied on part with typical St. Louis weather. It has been as low as in the teens and as high as about 65. It has rained, sleeted and snowed on our little Twink.
Take a guess before you click:
Here’s what the inside Twinkie looks like.

More torture to come!

It’s worrisome. I’m tempted to try this in Sunny SA just to see if our insects have lower standards. At the very least I know my stomach will be enjoying the food in the same state my mouth did.

The Twinkies still look the same as of today – almost three weeks later.
