Roger Ebert, I have a newfound respect for you. Your review of Expelled: No intelligence allowed” is a piece of satirical genius. Pure, unadulterated genius.

When I saw this film, I was incredibly sad. Not because the film was pathetic (it was…) but because someone out there might actually swallow the message.
I probably do not have to tell my dear readers how silly I think the ID movement is. Just in case: The ID movement is silly.
I also am always bothered when people exploit the deaths of millions of Jews in support of any argument or agenda. It is an insult to the people who died at the hands of a eugenicist Catholic.

One Response to “Ebert finally reviews "Expelled"”

Ugh, what an atrocious movie. Ben Stein shoots himself in the foot in the last half; it could have convinced a few simple-minded, uneducated people if not for the whole bizarre “and this scientific theory also CREATED THE HOLOCAUST OMFG!” angle. It’s pretty clear at that point (to all but the most fervent haters of science) that the entire film is a gigantic farce.
